[Alfred squeezes Richard's shoulder lightly in apology for how his powers seem to be working. Although, if the teenager hadn't been so reckless as to injure himself then they wouldn't be doing this at all. A broken leg is never pleasant, regardless of the method of healing.

After a few minutes, he no longer feels the odd pull that seems to signify his healing powers are at work, although he does feel slightly light headed. At least he's already sitting down - he wouldn't want to alarm Richard or prevent him from seeking healing assistance in the future.

His hand stays on the boy's shoulder, offering some comfort.
] I find that sometimes it helps to talk things out when one has had a rough time.

[It's an offer for Richard to explain why he doesn't exactly feel "better" on an emotional level. An offer without any pressure to discuss things he would rather keep quiet, but Alfred isn't entirely keen on letting the boy leave while his emotions are tangled in such a manner.]
